Australian Pest Animal Strategy 2017-2027

on .

A review of this Strategy, that provides national guidance on management of vertebrate pest animals, was conducted in 2016. Our submission raised a number of concerns including the fact that the draft Strategy contains no detailed actions or description of outcomes to be achieved through identified goals and priorities. We also recommended that the Australian Government provide a greater leadership role in pest animal management and prevention including support for increased coordination of initiatives across jurisdictions.
NCSSA also supported the detailed submission made by the Invasive Species Council about this review.
