Our General Meetings are held 4 times a year and are open to both members and the general public - all welcome!  We hold our meetings jointly with the Biological Society of South Australia except for our AGM.

The general format involves an update on current issues that we are working on, and any general business of the organisation, followed by a talk from a guest speaker who is invited to discuss an environmental topic of current interest.

Meetings are usually held at The University of Adelaide, Benham Lecture Theatre, on the first Thursday of scheduled months.

The General Meeting Schedule for 2017 is:

Thursday 2 March 2017 - Welcome BBQ followed by a presentation by Remko Leijs from the SA Museum. Remko will be presenting on the biodiversity of Australian native bees, attracting bees to your garden and the conservation of the green carpenter bee on Kangaroo Island.

Thursday 4 May 2017 - 2016 Conservation Biology Grant recipients' presentations and announcement of 2017 Conservation Biology Grants

Thursday 3 August 2017 - TBA
