Our General Meetings are held 4 times a year and are open to both members and the general public - all welcome!  We hold our meetings jointly with the Biological Society of South Australia except for our AGM.

The general format involves an update on current issues that we are working on, and any general business of the organisation, followed by a talk from a guest speaker who is invited to discuss an environmental topic of current interest.

Meetings are usually held at The University of Adelaide, Benham Lecture Theatre, on the first Thursday of scheduled months.

The General Meeting Schedule for 2018 is:

Thursday 1st March 2018 - Welcome BBQ followed by a presentation by Cath Kemper from the SA Museum on "Bring out your dead: the challenges of studying whales and dolphins in SA".

Thursday 10th (formerly 3rd)  May 2018 - Conservation Biology Grant 2017 recipients' presentations and announcement of 2018 Conservation Biology Grants

Thursday 2nd August 2018 - Lindell Andrews on the management of vertebrate incursions in South Australia.

AGM - Wednesday 19th September 2018 at 5 Milner Street Hindmarsh
